Chrono Trigger on PC received a major update

Chrono Trigger – a cult classic JRPG, which Square Enix decided to officially release on the PC 23 years after the initial release. The port turned out to be lousy: during the exit, Steam users drowned the game in negative reviews. Fortunately, the developers acted like decent people and began to correct the game.

Square Enix produced a whole series of major updates and yesterday released the final, fifth patch. Now, in Chrono Trigger for Steam, you can reconfigure the controls on the keyboard and on the gamepad, and control the characters with the mouse. After passing the game, a section with additions appears in the main menu – they allow you to view the cutscenes, leaf through the illustrations, listen to music and see any open ending.
