The lineup of professional graphics accelerators AMD will soon be replenished with the adapter Radeon Pro WX 8200, announced at the conference SIGGRAPH 2018. At the heart of the novelty is a 14-nm crystal Vega 10 in a configuration with 56 computational units (Compute Units), and by a combination of characteristics, it resembles game video card Radeon RX Vega 56, which received factory overclocking. At the disposal of the novelty, there are 3584 stream processors, operating at a frequency of up to 1500 MHz in dynamic overclocking. The “raw” computing power of the accelerator in operations with single-precision numbers (FP32) is 10.8 TFlops.

The memory subsystem is represented by two 4-gigabyte HBM2 stacks with a 2048-bit bus and an effective frequency of 2 GHz, providing a throughput of 512 GB / s. The heat is removed by a two-slot cooler with a centrifugal fan and, presumably, an evaporation chamber at the base of the radiator. An additional power supply is connected via the 8- and 6-pin PCI-E Power connectors and the nominal TDP level of the accelerator is 230 Watts. To display the image, you can use four Mini DisplayPort 1.4 ports.

Pre-orders for the graphics adapter AMD Radeon Pro WX 8200 start today, the recommended price of the novelty is $ 999. Deliveries of the video card will begin next month.
