At gamescom 2018 IGN got acquainted with the demo Devil May Cry 5, recorded his adventures in the video and posted a video on YouTube. Sure, orthodox fans of the series will like what they see. Judging by the demo, Capcom accepted the community’s requests to make a new DMC in the style of the first parts to heart. A mere mortal is unlikely to be distinguished by local chaotic battles from battles from, say, the fourth game, and Nero, who is inconspicuously picking up, from Dante. About the classic reminiscent of even the sharp transitions between gameplay and screensavers, immediately striking after God of War.
Where the DMC5 really stepped forward, so it’s in the graphics – and the grimaces of Nero, and the scenery, and the hefty demonic “boss” look equally cool. Which is not surprising – the slasher is developing on the technology engine Resident Evil 7. Devil May Cry 5 will visit Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in the spring of next year.
