Fallout 76: Online only

Bethesda has already warned fans that the transition of the Fallout series online with the release of Fallout 76 does not mean that all future games of the company will be strictly online.

However, Fallout 76 itself will never go offline – this fact was confirmed by Bethesda’s vice president of marketing Pete Hines, answering a question from the Twitter user about whether it is possible to disconnect the game from online in the foreseeable future (for example, in three years).

In other words, even if you want to play Fallout 76 alone, you can not get rid of the mandatory connection to the servers – even when single-player single-pass servers are available after the release.
