Ryu ga Gotoku Studio, responsible for the Yakuza series, is working on a game on new intellectual property. This was told by the creative director of Sega and the director of Yakuza Toshihiro Nagoshi (Toshihiro Nagoshi) on the air of Sega-Nama. According to Nagosi, the new IP will be different from Yakuza and “turn everything upside down.” The team has been working on the project for three years already.
In addition, Nagosi said that the next Sega-Nama broadcast would surprise the audience – the authors “will discuss topics that no one expects from them.” The air will be held after the Tokyo Game Show.
Recall that yesterday, European and American story PlayStation 4 visited Yakuza Kiwami 2 – a remake of the second part of Yakuza. The rating of the game on Metacritic is 85 points. Journalists write in pluses of adventure gameplay and plot variety – in this story, there were a place and tragedies, and comedies, and a lot of side entertainment. According to some critics, Kiwami 2 is able to lay even the last, sixth issue of the series on the scapula.
Most likely, Sega will present a secret project at the exhibition Tokyo Game Show 2018, which will be held on September 20-23.
