Last week, a representative of Playground Games promised that the minimum system requirements for Forza Horizon 4 for the PC will be even lower than the third part. Today we can find out if the developer was not squeamish – on the page Horizon 4 in the Windows store appeared a list of necessary components.
To launch Forza Horizon 4, you will need the following hardware:
• Operating system: Windows 10 version 15063.0 or later, • processor: Core i3-4170 3.7 GHz or i5-750 2.67 GHz, • graphics card: GeForce 650 Ti or GT 740 / AMD R7 250X, • RAM: 8 GB.
• Operating system: Windows 10 version 15063.0 or later, • processor: Core i7-3820 3.6 GHz, • graphics card: GeForce GTX 970 or GTX 1060 / AMD R9 290X, • RAM: 12 GB.
Comparing this list with the requirements of Horizon 3, it is easy to see that for both games you need almost identical computers. At the same time, the fourth part boasts more modern graphics and a change of seasons. It seems that this time Playground really took care of the optimization.
Forza Horizon 4 will appear on the Xbox One and PC on October 2.
