Last weekend, Capcom held a presentation Devil May Cry 5 at the exhibition PAX West. Employees of the company told about Nero weapons and side modes of the game. First of all, the authors confirmed that the fifth part will not do without the photo mode. It will obviously be in demand among fans of virtual photo-hunting – slasher works on the advanced engine RE Engine and, among other things, boasts physically correct rendering. Also, Capcom showed the “Gallery” – a section where you can study the drawings of different types of weapons, rotate 3D models and do other fan research. In addition, Devil May Cry 5 will receive training mode. According to the senior producer of the game, Michiteru Okabe, in “some titles” the creators could not normally implement this feature, but this time they tried to do everything in the best possible way.
Finally, Capcom representatives demonstrated seven of the eight versions of Devil Breaker – the so-called Nero prosthesis. The device models differ in attacks – for example, the Punch Line turns into a missile, on which the protagonist can jump, as if on some skateboard.
Devil May Cry 5 will break into the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 8, 2019. The last action movie trailer can be viewed here. At the Tokyo Game Show 2018 (September 20-23), developers will present the gameplay for Dante.
