The network has the results of official gaming tests of the latest Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 and RTX 2080Ti video cards, which were tested in 12 games.
Tests were conducted on modern games with the highest settings and 4K resolution. According to the published results of the Videocardz resource, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080Ti was faster on average by 40% than its predecessor Nvidia GeForce GTX1080Ti. For example, the Battlefield 1 game on the newest graphics card worked 48% faster than its predecessor, and in the F1 2018 game, the performance gain was 44%. In the shooter Call of Duty: WWII, in turn, the frame rate was increased by as much as 52%.
It is noted that the latest video card Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080Ti was inserted into the system with the following characteristics: processor Core i9-7900X 3.3 GHz, RAM 16 GB DDR4, Windows 10 operating system with NVIDIA 411.38 driver. In the tests of the RTX 2080Ti card, such a popular game as PUBG also took part, in which the performance gain was an impressive 36%. Another video card Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 also proved to be faster than Nvidia GeForce GTX1080Ti, in all games. It’s worth noting that in the Shadow of the Tomb Raider game, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080Ti did not achieve 60 frames per second at very high settings and 4K. The newest map managed to reach the result in only 59 frames.
Nvidia previously stated that the RTX 2080 series was actually designed specifically for 4K resolution.
