DiRT Rally is one of the most successful releases in the DiRT series. At least among the players: the rally simulator ratings on Steam are at around 88%. And Codemasters and not against it: it announced the sequel to DiRT Rally 2.0. Among the features of the second part is the official license of the World Rallycross Championship. During the launch of the DiRT Rally 2.0 there will be eight WRX tracks and cars of the 2018 season. In addition, New Zealand, Argentina, Spain, Poland, Australia, and the USA will appear in the list of locations.
As Eurogamer adds, the head of Paul Coleman does not participate in the development of DiRT Rally 2.0 – he is responsible for the hardcore accents in the gameplay of the first part. Coleman left Codemasters in June 2018. The developers have already announced gratitude for the pre-order: early buyers will get the Porsche 911 RGT Rally Spec.
The sale will also go to DiRT Rally 2.0 Deluxe Edition, which includes:
• The first two seasons of additional content after the release (in each season there are three locations with rally and rally-cross).
• Five pre-unlocked vehicles: Ford Escort MkII, Lancia Stratos, Subaru Impreza 1995, AUDI Sport Quattro S1 E2 and Ford Fiesta OMSE SuperCar Lite.
• Improved starting cars.
• In-game bonuses and events with high awards.
• Access to the game for four days before the release.
DiRT Rally 2.0 will be released on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (Xbox One X support is already announced). Release Date – February 26, 2019 (or February 22 for the owners of the Deluxe Edition).
