Mark of the Ninja is a two-dimensional stealth action game of 2012, which at one time won many gaming hearts. Six years later, Klei Entertainment releases a re-release for new platforms. As the developers say, the graphics of the original Mark of the Ninja were compressed to 720p, however, the original materials were painted by the artists in a much higher resolution. Therefore, in the remaster, the picture is pulled up to 4K standards: thanks to this gamers will see much more details, even if they are played on standard monitors with 1080p.
In addition, the reissue reworked cinematic inserts: they increased the resolution to 4K, polished their appearance and animated again to increase the detail. The sound will start using high quality compression and 5.1 surround format. Finally, Mark of the Ninja: Remastered includes by default the addition of the Special Edition with a new level, character, unique items and comments from the developers.
Mark of the Ninja: Remastered will be released on October 9 on PC (Windows, Mac, Linux), PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. Price category – 19.99 US dollars (or 435 rubles in the Russian Steam). If you have the original Mark of the Ninja on Steam or on the Xbox 360, the upgrade to the remaster will cost 4.99 dollars (133 rubles in the Russian Steam). If you have both the original Mark of the Ninja and the Special Edition add-on, then the upgrade to the remaster will be free.
