During the presentation of the processor Core i9-9900K, Intel called it the best gaming CPU in the world. This statement was based on the Principled Technologies study. However, it turned out that the data in it, to put it mildly, is not entirely correct. The company has already published new results in which the situation looks different. Intel Core i9-9900K is still ahead of the Ryzen 7 2700X, but not by 50 percent, but only by 12 percent in favor of the “blue” processor. And in many applications, the lag does not exceed the statistical error at all. At the same time, in Europe, i9-9900K costs 650 euros, while the Ryzen 7 2700X costs around 320 euros.
So if price plays a role, then clearly it is better to pay attention to the “red” chip. With its value, the money will be enough for a new motherboard and more memory.
