AMD dominates Intel in the European computer market in terms of processor sales. This follows from the statistics of sales of processors at a large German retailer Mindfactory in October 2018. The gap in sales in units between AMD and Intel was more than 42%.
The share of AMD was 71%, and Intel – 29%. In pieces, these are 13,130 AMD processors and 5,275 Intel processors. At the same time, AMD sales grew by more than 3 thousand, while Intel remained at the same level.
In terms of the money earned from sales, the situation is somewhat different. The average price for Intel processors in October is 354.75 euros, and for AMD chips – 206.82 euros. As a result, AMD accounts for 59% of revenue, and Intel – 41%.
