Telltale Games is preparing for a full closure, and as part of this process, the games developed by the studio began to disappear from Steam and other stores.
In particular, on the pages of Tales of Monkey Island, Back to the Future: The Game, The Walking Dead and other games no longer have a Buy button. According to GameDaily, now Telltale is going through a procedure close to declaring bankruptcy. Liquidation is managed by consulting firm Sherwood Partners.
However, in this case, the situation is somewhat different from the classic bankruptcy, since Telltale still has the funds to settle accounts with creditors. In parallel, the studio sells intellectual property belonging to it, and until someone picks up Telltale projects, they will not be able to buy them.
