Many fans of the game “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” expect that the size of the game world of the new project CD Projekt RED will be at least not less. Representatives of the studio decided to make some clarity on this issue in order to adjust the expectations of fans about Cyberpunk 2077. On the official game page on the social network Facebook, the developers answered the question of one of the fans, saying that “there is no sense in comparing the size of the world in these two games”. According to the developers, while The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt had a “flat map”, where all buildings and activities were on the same level, in Cyberpunk 2077 the size of the world also goes up and down and adds serious multi-level design.
According to the authors, in the city of Knight City of Cyberpunk 2077, there will be 6 large areas, very different from each other. Also, the game will have a lot of high buildings, which will allow you to enter and climb different floors, where there will be a variety of activities. In addition, gamers can not only climb but also go down in the subway, sewers, slums, and similar locations. Therefore, even if the Cyberpunk 2077 card is the same size as in The Witcher 3, in fact, gamers will get a much deeper and developed world with an abundance of possibilities.
Interestingly, the other day, representatives of CD Projekt RED held a conference for the brokerage office Vestor DM, where they stated that they are targeting Cyberpunk 2077 to work on all aspects of the project in the same way as in the recent hit Redstar Redemption 2 from the Rockstar Games studio. Considering how high the authors of the Cyberpunk 2077 game set the bar for quality, analysts even thought that Cyberpunk 2077 could be more successful than RDR2 due to the more interesting setting for gamers and high expectations from CDPR. Cyberpunk 2077 still has no official release date, however, many expect the game to be released as early as 2019 on PC, Xbox One and PS4. Given the fact that Sony and Microsoft are preparing a new generation of platforms in 2020, the game Cyberpunk 2077 can come out at this time at the same time on the current and the new generation.
