Unreal Tournament is another victim of Fortnite’s staggering success: the Battle Royale. Many developers from the UT team have already switched to supporting the “royal battle”, so there is nothing surprising.
Now Epic Games has officially stopped the development of Unreal Tournament. However, the fact of the transfer of developers to Fortnite: Battle Royale dates back to September, but now Tim Sweeney added that the game is no longer being actively developed.
Now Epic Games has finally become a studio of one game that feeds it and showers it with riches. What UT fans think about this is that nobody seems to care about Epic.
The latest update for Unreal Tournament was released in 2017, and we will not see any new ones already.
