AMD introduced the world’s first graphics card based on the new 7-nm process technology

At CES 2019, which runs from January 8 to January 11 in Las Vegas, AMD introduced the Radeon VII video card. This is the world’s first consumer-level video card based on a 7-nanometer manufacturing process.

AMD Radeon VII with Vega architecture is equipped with 3840 stream processors with a frequency of 1800 MHz, 16 GB of memory type HBM2 with 4096-bit bus, which gives a bandwidth of 1 TB / s. According to the manufacturer, the new video card provides 25% more performance than the Radeon RX Vega 64.

The video card uses a new interface PCI Express 4.0. Energy consumption remained at the level of its predecessor. AMD Radeon VII will go on sale February 7, 2019 at a price of 700 dollars.
